Typically during football games by now you've seen the Modelo commercials with their "Hispanic Football Legends"

I sit there and think, this is why we have the problems the way we do. Why label football players by their heritage. While I understand the beer company is trying to promote their beer and their agenda, why should we have to be exposed to it.

When I think of Tony Dorsett, Emmit Smith or Deion Sanders, I don't sit there and think wow they were African American Football Legends.

When I think of Peyton Manning, Terry Bradshaw or Johnny Unitas I don't sit there and think wow White American Football Legends.

I don't think of anything except, yep they were great FOOTBALL players.

This constant labeling of heritages, skin color and sexual preference is beyond out of control.

If they eliminated this kind of thinking and just left well enough alone, perhaps society would be different.

Enough is enough...……...

i agree, ads are targeting an audience with a message instead of promoting their products. Just today Adidas said they would not have done the Kapernick ad that Nike did. They said they felt the message was devisive. They feel ads should not send that message, and I have to agree with them

It's obviously an effort to inspire young kids to follow in their footsteps...and drink beer all along the way. El Chapo was very successful too...perhaps he will appear in a future spot.

Right on the button.

Hate to say it but there is one party that labels everyone. And one party that sees us all as Americans.

Can you imagine if Bud or Coors put a commercial supporting the European American heritage?..........The Liberal Media would have a complete meltdown......

If you are easily offended by a beer commercial like this, you might have a little too much free time.

Typically I wouldn't reply to such a sophomoric reply but here goes. I'll type it slower so you can follow along.

I am not offended in any manner, shape or form. I found the commercial ironic. When it comes to people labeling others, it's made into a big deal, yet here was this commercial doing just that and not a peep.

Enjoy your day and enjoy your modelo.

To say there hasn't been a peep is completely dishonest when this is at the very top of therxforum

I understand that point, and there is a lot of that anti white male sentiment on certain channels like VICE and CNN. I just don't watch it and it doesn't bother me that other people do. I watch shit like Hockey and the Joe Rogan Experiment, which I'm sure some people might be offended by. I just think getting outraged over a beer commercial celebrating latinos is a tad soft. Like when some black people were offended by the Geico "It's so easy a cave man can so it" commercials, it's just being soft to me. Or being offended by A&E cause they their show "48" show mostly black murder investigations.

And a company in Belgium owns Busch.

Inbev is a combination of the Belgium company interbrew and Brazilian company Ambev. They then purchased anheuser Busch and most recently Miller making it by far and away the largest beer company in the world.
